Job Summary
Conduct regular armed patrols of resort buildings, guest areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations by escalating matters according to site procedures while maintaining a professional armed presence. Monitor for security hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations, documenting observations in required reports. Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities. Maintain a visible presence to support access control at the Orlando resort location.
Required Qualifications
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred
