Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas in healthcare facilities, parking zones, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns. Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders. Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while verifying credentials and reporting unusual conditions. Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with laws and site policies, completing accurate incident reports. Work part-time shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree
- Armed Guard Card or License
- At least 21 years of age
- New Jersey RPO Certificate
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
