Job Summary
Conduct regular armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations at a government location while maintaining visible presence for crowd and access control. Monitor access points to verify authorized entry and provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public. Document observations and report concerns through appropriate channels during routine operations and emergency situations. Complete six-month fixed-shift commitments with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform. Maintain a valid driver's license and possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
