Job Summary
Conduct regular armed patrols at a government location in New Port Richey, FL, to deter unauthorized activity and monitor access points. Respond to incidents and disturbances by documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels while maintaining a visible presence to support crowd and access control. Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities. Complete six-month fixed-shift commitments and optionally pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings. Maintain a valid driver's license and participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience
- Valid driver's license
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
