Job Summary
Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, grounds, and perimeter locations while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. Respond to security-related concerns, alarms, and critical situations by following established reporting and escalation protocols. Monitor access points to verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries, and provide customer service to site personnel and contractors. Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, reporting observed hazards and policy violations to appropriate personnel. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and an active Guard Card. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and complete industry-specific security training.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Active Guard Card or license
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Valid driver's license for driving positions only
