Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle while watching for irregular conditions or safety hazards. Sound alarms or call police and fire departments regarding fires or unauthorized persons. Provide customer service by executing safety procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Perform regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients across healthcare, commercial real estate, education, and government sectors. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available with a starting pay of $21.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 2 + Years Law Enforcement Civilian or Military or Corrections 2+Years
- Certified Law Enforcement Officer (Active or Retired)
- Corrections Officer
- Current Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission (CJSTC)
- Military Police or Qualifying Military Experience
- State Police Academy Certification
- State Corrections Academy Certification
- Military DD Form 214
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Driver's License in the State of Employment
- Ability to pass Allied Universal pre-employment screening
- Ability to pass client-specific background investigations
- Ability to successfully meet Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
- Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
- A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
- Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
