Job Summary
Conduct security patrols on foot or in vehicles to monitor designated areas and identify irregular conditions. Sound alarms or contact emergency services for fires or unauthorized persons. Respond to incidents and critical situations using calm, problem-solving approaches while adhering to site-specific policies. Provide customer service by executing safety procedures and emergency response activities. Perform regular and random perimeter checks across business locations. Maintain a valid driver's license and pass required background investigations.
Required Qualifications
- 2 + Years Law Enforcement Civilian or Military or Corrections 2+Years
- Certified Law Enforcement Officer (Active or Retired)
- Corrections Officer
- Current Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission (CJSTC)
- Military Police or Qualifying Military Experience
- State Police Academy Certification
- State Corrections Academy Certification
- Military DD Form 214
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Driver's License in the State of Employment
- Ability to pass Allied Universal pre-employment screening
- Ability to pass client-specific background investigations
- Ability to successfully meet Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
- Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
- A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
- Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
