Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols of assigned government sites while maintaining visible presence to deter security incidents. Respond to alarms and critical situations as a first responder, providing first aid and enforcing site-specific rules and directives. Greet guests, escort visitors, secure ingress and egress points, and protect classified information. Maintain proficiency in protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons. Report safety concerns, breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication. Requires Act 235 qualification, PA concealed carry permit, and ability to travel up to 40 miles from Allentown.
Required Qualifications
- Act 235 Qualification
- PA Concealed Carry Weapons permit
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years combined of Armed Security / Law Enforcement / Armed Corrections or the equivalent
- Ability to Pass a Physical that includes: push-ups, sit-ups and a cardiovascular related stress test
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able and willing to travel up to 40 miles from the Greater Allentown, PA area
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- No unpaid, unsettled or disputed Federal Taxes or Federal Loans
- Valid driver's license
