Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols and random site checks to deter security incidents while enforcing site-specific policies and directives. Respond to alarms and critical situations as a first responder, providing first aid when necessary and maintaining proficiency with assigned protective equipment and weapons. Greet guests and employees, escort visitors, secure ingress and egress points, and safeguard classified information. Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication. Maintain a calm, problem-solving demeanor throughout all interactions. This part-time role requires Act 235 qualification, a PA Concealed Carry permit, and 2+ years of armed security experience. Located in Selinsgrove, PA, with travel up to 40 miles.
Required Qualifications
- Act 235 Qualification
- PA Concealed Carry Weapons permit
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years combined of Armed Security / Law Enforcement / Armed Corrections or the equivalent
- Ability to Pass a Physical that includes: push-ups, sit-ups and a cardiovascular related stress test
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able and willing to travel up to 40 miles from the Greater Selinsgrove, PA area
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
