Job Summary
Provide customer service and respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by documenting observations and communicating with site contacts or emergency personnel. Conduct regular armed patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and report maintenance concerns or security hazards per post orders and use-of-force guidelines. Operate within applicable federal, state, and local laws while maintaining a professional presence. This role requires an armed guard card, active DoD Secret Clearance, and a valid driver's license. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and commit to a six-month anchor shift in Manassas, VA, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts via the Smart Tools platform.
Required Qualifications
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license
- Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
