Security Officer Armed Driver Response

Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeters, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security presence. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner while following established post orders and reporting requirements. Monitor access to controlled areas, verify visitor authorization, and document incidents or unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures. Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public by executing security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a government corrections location. Maintain awareness of changing conditions and communicate observations to appropriate personnel or emergency responders. Work a day shift from 05:45 AM to 06:00 PM.
