Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas and perimeters, remaining visible to reduce security-related incidents while delivering customer service. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, executing site-specific policies and emergency response activities as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, working in environments that may vary by site. This part-time role at a government location in Signal Hill, CA, requires a valid armed guard card, six months of relevant experience, and a clean driving record. Shifts run Monday through Tuesday from 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid armed guard card and/or license
- At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience
- Valid driver's license
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Handcuff, pepper spray, and/or baton experience
