Job Summary
Conduct regular patrols of property entrances, exits, and perimeters while maintaining a visible presence to deter suspicious activity. Monitor surveillance systems, respond promptly to incidents and disturbances, and write detailed daily reports on security concerns. Assist staff and visitors professionally, collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, and adhere to all safety protocols and site-specific policies. Maintain a clean driving record and possess a current armed license or one obtained within the past year. This role serves clients across commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government sectors, requiring a minimum of 21 years of age and two years of security experience.
Required Qualifications
- MUST HAVE CURRENT ARMED LICENSE OR ARMED WITHIN THE PAST YEAR
- 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER
- ABLE TO STAND/WALK FOR EXTENDED PERIODS (as needed)
- ABILITY TO WORK OUTDOORS IN THE ELEMENTS
- MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
- 2 YEARS OF SECURITY EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- *A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
