Security Officer Armed

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a busy retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and coordinating with store leadership. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the sales floor, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to identify unusual activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to observe customer and employee activity, support loss prevention efforts, and report suspicious behavior. Support opening, closing, and after-hours procedures by performing assigned checks, maintaining a visible presence, and completing required reports. This fixed-shift commitment requires a six-month base schedule with the option to pick up additional shifts via the Smart Tools platform. Candidates must hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas, possess a valid driver's license, and have either three years of law enforcement/corrections/military experience or five years of armed security experience.
