Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols, remain visible to deter security incidents, and support customer service at a retail location in Houston, TX. Respond to disturbances and critical situations by documenting details and notifying personnel, while monitoring entrances and high-traffic areas to maintain an armed presence. Assist with access control, crowd management, and security support during opening, closing, and cash movement observations. This armed driving post requires a Level III certification, a valid driver's license, and 3+ years of law enforcement or 5+ years of armed security experience. Required Qualifications
- 21+ Years of Age
- Active Armed Guard Card/License (Texas only)
- Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements
- 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
