Job Summary
The Security Officer is responsible for providing security services for Witham Health Services' facilities and grounds. Key responsibilities include deterring loss of property, intercepting unauthorized individuals, investigating unusual incidents, and interfacing with employees, patients, visitors, and local law enforcement. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of two years of security experience, current CPR and CPI certifications, and preferred experience in a healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- 2 or more years of working experience in the security industry
- Current CPR certification
- Current CPI certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working security in a healthcare setting
- Formal training related to law enforcement, military, or security practices
Additional Requirements
- Available to work days, evenings, nights or weekends and holidays as schedule requires
