Job Summary
Patrol premises and serve as the designated person of authority in emergencies to maintain safety for villagers, staff, and visitors. Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people, investigate suspicious activity, respond to alarms per Emergency Disaster Preparedness plans, provide assistance to people in need, assist with monthly/quarterly fire drills, escort staff during shift changes, check fire egress and exterior security, test emergency communications, perform minor maintenance tasks, and carry out duties requiring physical exertion (standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 75 pounds). Must have at least a High School Diploma/GED, be at least 21, hold a valid Georgia driver’s license with insurance, pass fingerprint-based background checks, complete drug and TB screenings, and be proficient in English with CPR/First Aid abilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid Class C Georgia Driver’s License
- Proof of vehicle insurance
- MVR requirements
- Must meet state regarding criminal history check (GBI and FBI) with fingerprinting
- Must undergo and pass drug screening
- Must undergo TB screening
