Security Officer

Provide security detail as outlined in the post orders, maintaining a professional image with customers and local emergency services. Responsibilities include controlling entrances and pedestrian/vehicle flow, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, handling special assignments, staying informed of post orders, greeting customers politely, reporting revisions from the customer and AFS, monitoring cameras and equipment, knowing emergency policies, completing Daily Activity Reports and incident reports, recommending safety improvements, and maintaining knowledge of life safety systems and related equipment (e.g., fire panels, CCTV, elevators, access doors). Work may vary by post; readiness to adapt to site-specific duties is expected. The position is located at Minneapolis, MN, United States.
