Security Officer

Provide security at Southdale Center, control entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, patrol buildings and perimeters, escort material and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and perform special assignments. Maintain a professional image with excellent customer service; be proactive in staying current with post orders; monitor cameras and equipment; report incidents and complete relevant reports; communicate with Security Supervisor; know life safety systems and equipment; ensure safe operation of elevators and access doors; contribute to safety and loss prevention improvements; adapt duties based on post orders and organizational needs.
