Security Officer

Provide security detail at Southdale Center, control entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, patrol buildings and perimeters, escort material and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and perform special assignments. Maintain a professional image with customers and staff, greet visitors, report revisions to post orders, monitor cameras and emergency procedures, complete Daily Activity Reports and incident documentation, and communicate security issues to the Security Supervisor. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and elevator/access door operation; ability to follow training, ensure safety, and support loss prevention. Strong customer service, vigilance, teamwork, and clear written and spoken communication are essential.
