Security Officer

Provide security detail at Southdale Center location(s) with duties including controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service; greet customers/visitors/employees; stay updated on post orders; monitor cameras and emergency procedures; complete Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and related documentation; report suspicious activity; contribute to safety and loss prevention efforts; be knowledgeable about life safety systems and equipment (elevators, access doors, CCTV) and coordinate with security personnel and local agencies as needed. Skills emphasize vigilance, teamwork, clear communication, adaptability to post variations, and a strong customer-service orientation.
