Security Officer

Security Officer responsible for protecting property and people at Southdale Center. Duties include controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, completing daily reports, and maintaining knowledge of emergency policies and procedures. Must be professional, provide excellent customer service, greet visitors, remain vigilant, monitor CCTV/equipment, know life-safety systems, and communicate security issues to supervision. Role may involve varying duties based on post orders and location, with adherence to post orders and customer requirements.
