Security Officer

Provide security detail at Southdale Center. Patrol buildings and perimeters, control entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, escort material and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and handle special assignments. Maintain a professional image with strong customer service, greet customers and employees, stay current with post orders, monitor cameras and emergency procedures, and report daily activity, incidents, and recommendations for safety and loss prevention. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and elevator/access door operation is expected, along with training/compliance duties and coordination with Security Supervisor. Duties may vary by post and geographic location, with emphasis on vigilance, reporting, and response to alarms or incidents.
