Security Officer

Provide security detail at Southdale Center; control entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrol buildings and perimeters, escort material and personnel, and inspect security and fire exposures. Maintain a professional image with excellent customer service, greet customers and staff, and report as required. Stay up-to-date with post orders, monitor cameras, respond to emergencies, complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, and communicate security issues to the Security Supervisor. Possess knowledge of life safety systems and equipment, including fire panels and CCTV, and ensure safe operation of elevators and access doors. Role may include special assignments and ADA accommodations as needed; duties may vary by post orders and location, with a focus on vigilance, teamwork, and adherence to company policies.
