Security Officer

Security Officer at Southdale Center responsible for providing security detail, controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians/vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials/personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain professional image and strong customer service, greet customers/visitors/employees, stay informed of post orders, monitor cameras, report incidents with Daily Activity Reports/incident reports, and collaborate with Security Supervisor on issues. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and related equipment to ensure safe operation of elevators and access doors. Ability to adapt to post assignments and regulations, and to communicate effectively in emergencies.
