Security Officer

Provide security detail at Southdale Center with professional customer service; control entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles; patrol buildings and perimeters; escort material and personnel; inspect security and fire exposures; handle special assignments; maintain a professional image and greet customers, visitors, and employees; stay aware of post orders and communicate with the Security Supervisor; monitor cameras and emergency procedures; complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports; advise on safety and loss-prevention improvements; possess knowledge of life-safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, elevators, and access doors; be vigilant, cooperative, and able to work as part of a team with strong written and spoken communication.
