Security Officer

Provide security detail at Southdale Center, control entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrol buildings and perimeters, escort material and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and perform special assignments. Maintain professional image and deliver excellent customer service, greet customers and employees, monitor surveillance equipment, stay current with post orders and emergency procedures, complete daily activity and incident reports, and communicate security issues to the supervisor. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, elevators, and access doors, with the ability to adapt duties based on post orders and location. Strong vigilance, teamwork, and effective written and verbal communication are essential.
