Security Officer

Provide security detail as outlined in post orders, maintaining professional image and excellent customer service. Responsibilities include controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, handling special assignments, and reporting daily activity and incidents. Stay updated on post orders, greet customers and employees courteously, monitor surveillance equipment, respond to emergencies, and apply life-safety procedures and regulations. Knowledge of fire panels and CCTV, operating elevators and access doors safely, and communicating security issues to the Security Supervisor are required to support risk and loss-prevention goals.
