Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols of commercial office areas, common spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. Respond to security-related concerns and critical situations by following established site protocols. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and alarms to report unusual conditions and help prevent unauthorized access. Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities. Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred
- Have alarm panel experience preferred
- Have access control and badge experience preferred
- Hold CPR certification preferred
