Job Summary
Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout healthcare facility areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency responders when needed. Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Work part-time fixed shifts with a six-month commitment, with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Alarm panel experience is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
