Job Summary

Conduct routine unarmed patrols of assigned airport facilities, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity. Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and airport personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor for unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and potential hazards; report observations and incidents according to established procedures. Respond to alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and public agencies as needed. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while following applicable government and airport regulations. Work swing shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Monday through Sunday.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen
  • A valid driver's license

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet
  • Access control and badge experience
  • Customer service experience
