Job Summary
Greet guests, manage access control including ID verification and bag inspections, and maintain a visible presence across interior and exterior areas through regular patrols. Apply de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts, identify suspicious activity, and respond promptly to incidents or policy violations while coordinating with team members via radio. Act as a first responder for First Aid or CPR situations and ensure all guests adhere to legal standards and company policies. This role requires full-time availability from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, including weekends. Candidates must have at least two years of security experience, valid First Aid and CPR certification, and be 25 years of age or older.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of previous security experience
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical interventions when required
- Flexibility required for shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as operationally required
Desired Qualifications
- French is a strong asset
- Martial arts or defensive tactics experience is considered a strong asset
