Job Summary
Monitor entry points, screen people and property, and support access control activities at a logistics and distribution location. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers while carrying out screening procedures and emergency response activities. Conduct regular patrols around the business, access points, and perimeter, and respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Report observations, concerns, and unusual activity to appropriate contacts. This part-time role in Indianapolis includes Thursday and Friday shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM at a rate of $17.22 per hour. X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred
- Loss prevention experience is preferred
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
