Job Summary
Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and document entries, exits, deliveries, and other access-related activity according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, property policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating relevant security-related information to site management and Allied Universal leadership. Work part-time day shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, in Port Saint Lucie, FL.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of security-related experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Possess a valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
