Job Summary
Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities. Conduct regular unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and incident records. Respond to alarms and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and document observations. Report unusual conditions, damaged property, and access control concerns to supervision. Requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and minimum age of 18. Part-time schedule available with flexible shift options.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Guard card/license
- Comfort using a computer or tablet
- Experience with access control and badge systems
- Customer service experience
