Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas in healthcare locations to maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and support access control. Respond to security-related concerns, medical emergencies, and critical situations by communicating with site personnel and first responders. Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to identify potential security issues. Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while assisting with visitor management and maintaining professional standards. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and observations in accordance with site requirements.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 months of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
