Job Summary
Manage entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and monitor visitor and contractor logs at an industrial retail and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while conducting regular patrols of the facility, loading areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity. Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by executing site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. Assist with receiving and shipping area access procedures, ensuring all credentials are checked against site requirements. Work a rotating day shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, as part of Allied Universal's team safeguarding diverse industries.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control or badge experience is preferred
