Job Summary
Conduct safety and protection duties for Ameristar Casino Resort and Spa, including monitoring money transactions, managing command center functions, and maintaining order. Assist guests and employees during critical incidents, respond to situations requiring physical force, and document investigations when necessary. Deliver exceptional internal and external guest service while maintaining security standards and reporting violations immediately. Work an 8-hour shift under pressure, with consistent weekend and holiday coverage. Must hold a valid gaming and driver's license and pass background and drug screenings.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
- Must be able to physically walk and stand for an 8 hour shift
- Must be able to consistently work weekends and holidays
- Possession of, and ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers and gaming license within assigned state of employment and other jurisdictions
- Must successfully pass background check
- Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work under pressure by maintaining composure when exposed to stress
- These skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent and two (2) years customer service experience or through closely related experience, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
