Security Officer, 3rd shift, Per Diem

Safeguard, patrol, and monitor buildings, grounds, and property to protect lives and property while enforcing policy. Provide directions and assistance to visitors, patients, vendors, and staff; conduct weapon screening using handheld wands and the EVOLV system; monitor alarms and cameras; respond to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement as needed. Communicate effectively with team members, Nursing Supervisor, security colleagues, and law enforcement; verify staff IDs and control entry; generate incident reports and maintain shift logs; escort individuals as required and address maintenance issues. Requires 2 years security experience preferred, HS diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and eligibility criteria as described. Hourly rate and benefits information provided; position is on-site, 3rd shift, part-time at Burlington Hospital in South New Jersey.
