Job Summary
Oversee secure and efficient loading dock operations by monitoring inbound and outbound traffic, verifying delivery personnel, and controlling access to authorized personnel only. Maintain a visible presence to patrol dock zones, deter unauthorized activity, and enforce building policies while answering calls related to dock operations. Inspect outgoing deliveries, monitor security systems and alarms, and prepare incident reports as required. Follow established emergency protocols and support evacuation procedures if needed. Valid security license and 10 years of experience in security or logistics are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid state-mandated security officer license or ability to obtain one
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in security, preferably with logistics or dock-related responsibilities
