Job Summary
Patrol Spaceport Americas property and personnel by monitoring surveillance, inspecting access points, and preventing property loss or injury. Conduct investigations into incidents, accidents, and security issues affecting the facility or clients, then provide detailed reports to the Security Manager. Monitor vehicle and person entry, respond to alarms by assessing situations, and observe for signs of crime or disorder. Prevent losses by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies. Complete all assigned duties while complying with site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- current Level 3 Guard Card issued by the NM RLD
- valid Driver's License
- ability to pass a drug screening
- ability to pass a background check
- ability to successfully pass a Physical Ability Test within 90 days of employment
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
