Job Summary
The Security Officer 2 position involves maintaining visibility at assigned locations to assist patients, visitors, and staff by providing information and support. Responsibilities include monitoring traffic, enforcing policies to protect people and property, responding to emergency situations, conducting routine building rounds, providing physical assistance, and documenting incidents. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and complete safety certifications within 60 days of hire. Prior experience in security and physical fitness to meet job demands are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Obtain certification in BLS or HeartSaver First Aid within 60 days of hire date
- State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas
- One (1) year of experience in Security field
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree in criminal justice, criminology, forensics, law, or related field of study.
