Security Officer 1

Responsible for a fixed post or patrolling an assigned area to preserve peace and order, provide excellent customer service, and protect persons and property; duties include enforcing policies, assisting employees/patients/visitors, traffic and parking control, documenting observations and incidents, taking corrective action, emergency response, escorting and assisting facility personnel, fire drills, and writing clear incident reports; must complete security training programs (IAHSS, AVADE de-escalation, defensive tactics, Taser) and maintain confidentiality while communicating effectively with the public in a courteous, professional manner; position is a part-time security role at Wellstar Health System with a night shift in Georgia.
