Job Summary
Monitor casino operations, patrol parking lots, and escort money transfers to ensure guest and employee safety. Investigate incidents by taking statements, securing evidence, and reporting violations of security policies and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. Respond promptly to emergency requests, control emergency situations, and verify customer age while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Provide First Aid or CPR only when certified and needed. Perform other duties as directed, including special projects, in compliance with internal procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift or carry money/assets
- Ability to verify customers are 21+ years of age
- Ability to stamp hand
- Ability to respond promptly to requests for emergency or security assistance
- Ability to maintain good public relations with casino guests and employees
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Ability to identify unsafe practices or conditions
- Ability to report unsafe conditions to supervisor or Safety Committee
- Ability to follow established security protocols
- Ability to receive technical direction and guidance
- Ability to investigate incidents by asking questions
- Ability to take and analyze statements
- Ability to secure and report evidence
- Ability to make an accurate record of all investigations
- Ability to escort transfer of money/assets throughout the casino
- Ability to patrol casino parking lots
- Ability to monitor casino for potential problems occurring with excessive alcohol consumption
- Ability to act to remedy situations regarding unacceptable behavior
- Ability to report violations to casino security policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain alertness for performance of all responsibilities
- Ability to exercise caution and evaluate circumstances for appropriate security or safety response
- Ability to keep supervisor informed of any concerns
- Ability to respond to and control emergency situations
- Ability to minimize risk to casino guests and employees
- Ability to perform duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act
- Ability to perform duties in compliance with Internal Control Minimum Procedures
- Ability to perform duties in compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Ability to perform duties in compliance with Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations
- Ability to perform other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed
Desired Qualifications
