Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of casino floors, parking lots, and shuttle areas while monitoring for excessive alcohol consumption or policy violations. Investigate incidents by taking statements, securing evidence, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with Colorado Limited Gaming Act regulations. Escort transfers of money and assets throughout the casino, provide emergency first aid when certified, and respond promptly to emergency situations to minimize risk to guests and employees. Maintain a safe work environment by identifying unsafe conditions and reporting them to supervisors or the Safety Committee. Verify customer age and stamp hands, control emergency responses, and assist other departments as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift or carry money/assets
- Ability to verify customers are 21+ years of age
- Ability to stamp hand
- Knowledge of Colorado Limited Gaming Act
- Knowledge of Internal Control Minimum Procedures
- Knowledge of Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Ability to identify unsafe practices or conditions
- Ability to report unsafe conditions to supervisor or Safety Committee
- Ability to investigate incidents by asking questions
- Ability to take and analyze statements
- Ability to secure and report evidence
- Ability to make an accurate record of all investigations
- Ability to patrol casino parking lots
- Ability to monitor casino for excessive alcohol consumption
- Ability to monitor casino for unacceptable behavior
- Ability to act to remedy situations
- Ability to respond to and control emergency situations
- Ability to minimize risk to casino guests and employees
- Ability to maintain alertness
- Ability to exercise caution and evaluate circumstances for appropriate security or safety response
- Ability to keep supervisor informed of concerns
- Ability to comply with casino security policies and procedures
