SECURITY MONITOR I-12 HR

Maintain continuous state of alertness and awareness to control and secure the facility and residents while operating within legal constraints and contract agency stipulations. Ensure watch equipment is operational, prepare shift documentation including reports and work orders, and conduct facility counts and radio checks. Frequently patrol buildings to observe residents, monitor security, and verify resident assignments on the picture board. Supervise resident work details, perform scheduled and random activities such as urinalysis, pat downs, and breath tests, and document disciplinary actions for rule violations. Conduct cleanliness checks of the facility and resident belongings to meet health and environmental requirements. Welcome visitors, communicate professionally with residents and staff to maintain positive relations, participate in staff meetings, and maintain confidentiality. Adhere to attendance policies, company policies, and facility safety rules while performing other duties as assigned.
