SECURITY MONITOR I-12 HR

Maintain an orderly environment within the assigned unit by supervising all resident movement, conducting daily inspections and searches of sleeping quarters, and monitoring security cameras. Perform scheduled resident headcounts, collect urine samples for substance abuse screenings, and monitor eye drug testing when assigned. Enforce facility rules of conduct, supervise visitations, provide orientation to new residents, and conduct appropriate crisis intervention for behavioral incidents. Report resident accidents, injuries, and behavioral problem incidents in writing to the supervisor. Transport residents by company vehicle to out-of facility appointments and complete written count reports. Adhere to daily schedules and facility policies while working overtime as needed.
