Security Master Specialist

Job Summary
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date Security Master for global equity, futures, options, and other asset classes by conducting daily analysis, filtration of reports, and running tests to identify data breaks. Liaise with Treasury Services, brokers, data vendors, and issuers to track exceptions, corporate actions, and exchange notices, ensuring consistent application across all teams. Oversee a team of consultants to manage day-to-day exceptions, resolve pricing differences, and verify valuation data availability. Assist in onboarding and testing new Security Master features and corporate actions for new share classes while driving continuous process improvement and managing operational deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing data within a firm wide Security Master
- Experience in Corporate Actions
- Well-versed with data-validation, exceptions and anomalies/pricing differences driven by collaborating with some of the front office and execution teams
- Understanding of financial instruments
- Managing operational processes and deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SQL (Joins across multiple tables, common table expressions, temporary tables, aggregate functions, case statements, ad-hoc loading of files into the database)
- Unix shell commands and scripting
