Job Summary

Oversee the WGLV Security program with a focus on communications, training, investigations, and special events, including implementing the department's armed program. Liaise with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies on investigations and maintain professional relationships with external organizations. Conduct interviewing, hiring, and processing of applicants while directing subordinates, reviewing performance evaluations, and editing incident reports. Assume control of high-stress situations and fill in for the Director of Security during absences. Submit written reports on policy breaches, testify in legal proceedings as needed, and recommend improvements to security operations. Maintain strict confidentiality, communicate via radio and email, and adapt to extended hours or off-duty responses based on operational needs.

Required Qualifications

Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
