Job Summary
Manage and coordinate vendor service calls, preventative maintenance inspections, and weekly/monthly 3rd party security invoices. Train personnel in physical security procedures, prepare and update security policies, and onboard new hires. Enforce safety regulations, direct visitors, and control access while conducting periodic rounds to detect anomalies. Create and modify panel configurations, conduct physical security audits, and manage access levels for all data centers. Retrieve video footage as needed and own the site break/fix program to support day-to-day security systems operations. Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams during system design and commissioning of new buildings. Resolve on-site conflicts and manage spare parts using tracking sheets. This onsite role in Santa Clara requires up to 25% travel and supports Vantage's expansion with new builds across North America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management
- Experience with heavy construction and managing security in dynamic environments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency with security reporting tools and software
- Solid troubleshooting skills for equipment or software issues
- Ability to develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Initiative-driven with a focus on achieving results
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of security and safety
- Travel required is expected to be up to 25% but may increase over time as the business evolves
